David: OFWGKTA on MTV

Taco & Tyler, the Creator from OFWGKTA
For those of you that are not following OFWGKTA I think it's time you do. It's crazy to think after knowing them for one year and seeing them the weekend I was out for the Grammy's in Los Angeles how much of a buzz they have generated throughout the whole United States. From Kanye West tweeting Tyler's "Yonkers" as the best music video of 2011 (which recently hit over 1 million views in just one week), to the Jimmy Fallon performance, and now MTV. OFWGKTA has made more than a name for themselves and continues to keep pushing their music into the minds of America and even the whole world. They are here to stay and from the looks of it, it'll be for a long time.

Below is the full MTV Interview of OFWGKTA featured on television two days ago (2/24/11). Check it out below and see why these kids are the next big thing in all of music:

Hit the jump to see the video footage from Jimmy Fallon and the Yonkers' music video.

Gray: Drake x Better Than Good (MTV Documentary)

Part 1: Is Drake The ‘Next Big Thing’ In Hip-Hop?

This aired on MTV, but both David and myself missed it and I'm sure plenty of other people did too, so I'm posting it up for everyone to view. The same people who did Jay-Z's Fade to Black (Radical Media) followed Drake around for four months up until the release of his debut album, Thank Me Later. Part 1 is up above and the rest are after the jump. Check them out!

Part 2: Drake Just Wants People To Be Confident In His Abilities

Part 3: Drake Puts The Finishing Touches On Thank Me Later

Part 4: Drake’s Biggest Fear Is Losing His Producer, Noah ‘40′ Shebib

Part 5: Drake’s Show At Governor’s Island Is Canceled

Part 6: Drake Believes He Gets ‘Everything Good In Life’ From His Mom

Part 7: Drake Sells 446,680 Copies Of Thank Me Later In The First Week

David: Throwback Tuesdays!

For this week I decided to throw up "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West. For the past couple gigs I've had I couldn't help but drop "Jesus Walks" in it. The samples taken out of "Walk With Me" performed by ARC Choir are killer. And on top of things this song made me a Kanye fan from the beginning. Below are parts 1-3 of the third single off of Kanye's debut album, College Dropout:

David: Lil Wayne Could Serve More Time

This was announced earlier today on several other blogs and websites, but for those that don't know Lil Wayne could be serving more jail time. Why you ask? He was caught with some headphones, a charger, and a watch that doubles as a mp3 player in his jail cell. Because of this Wayne could be hit with a Level 1 infraction, which could add more time to his sentence and could possibly lose his job as a suicide-prevention aid. The release of the Young Money founder might be pushed back, but nothing is for sure yet. Read the full story at MTV to see more information about the process.

On a positive note however Gucci Mane was released last night! BURRRRRR!! Check out his press conference with reporters after the jump!
