David: Skateistan - To Live and Skate Kabul

I was just introduced to this video today and after watching it I am speechless. The work done in this video and the project they put together over seas is amazing. "Skateistan: To Live And Skate Kabul" is a beautifully shot film that follows the lives of a group of young skateboarders in Afghanistan. Operating against the backdrop of war and bleak prospects, the Skateistan charity project is the world’s first co-educational skateboarding school, where a team of international volunteers work with girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 17, an age group largely untouched by other aid programmes. David: Star Wars Series to Be Released in 3D

George Lucas has recently announced that the Star War series will be re-released in theaters in 3D because of the improvement and expansion of technology in enough movie theaters. "Phantom Menace" (Star Wars One) is expected to hit theaters in 2012. If the first film does well, Lucas will release the other movies each year after. Guess we'll see what is to come!

David: 50 Cent's Shocking Slim Down... DAMN

I know what you're probably thinking... Something along the lines of WTF. So I'll tell you right away before you start thinking anymore. These images appeared on Thisis50 and shows a slimmed down 50 for his role in the upcoming film, Things Fall Apart. In the movie, 50 plays a football player who has been diagnosed with cancer. He started off at a healthy size of 204 pounds and dropped down to 160 pounds with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill for nine weeks. The things celebrities do these days... Tough job. David: Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop (Preview)

On Friday, April 16th, Bansky's "Exit Through The Gift Shop" is set to premier its US tour. Banksy is a UK graffiti icon and this is a trailer of the new documentary which Bansky himself gives us a little insight to the story line here:

"The film is the story of what happens when this guy tried to make a documentary about me but he was a lot more interesting than I am, so the film is now kinda about him."
