David: Banksy Spotted in New York City

In the Financial District

This information has been out on the internet for awhile now and I meant to post it yesterday, but I got flooded with work for my AP exam I was studying for this morning. But as you know I've been trying to keep people as updated as I can with this North American tour Banksy has everyone out of their seats waiting to see what he does next. Recently he hit up New York City with a few more pieces on the walls of the Big Apple. Check the rest out below:

In DUMBO

In Chinatown

In SoHo

Shouts to Gothamist!
PS: Unfortunately Team Robbo has already dissed two of the pieces above. Check it out here.

David: Banksy's Work Seen In Toronto, Detroit, Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco

Toronto, near Trinity Bellwoods Park, Union Station, Rogers Centre

I did a post on this guy showing the preview of his film Exit Through the Gift Shop, which has been playing in select spots throughout the United States (click here to see city listings). Here are some pieces done by Banksy, his crew, and maybe some people copying his style around Toronto, Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, and San Francisco. The only way to know for sure that they're real is to check the outdoors section. But nonetheless all these pieces are amazing. Both provoking and insightful.

David: Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop (Preview)

On Friday, April 16th, Bansky's "Exit Through The Gift Shop" is set to premier its US tour. Banksy is a UK graffiti icon and this is a trailer of the new documentary which Bansky himself gives us a little insight to the story line here:

"The film is the story of what happens when this guy tried to make a documentary about me but he was a lot more interesting than I am, so the film is now kinda about him."

Check out the preview below!
