David: Nike World Basketball Festival With the U.S.A. Basketball Team and Jay-Z

The Nike sponsored World Basketball Festival has descended upon New York. From a staged performance by Jay-Z at Radio City Music Hall, to kid-centric work-shops with top USA ballers, the World Basketball Festival is in full swing this weekend in NYC. The event culminates with a pair of games at Madison Square Garden, this Sunday 8/15. The U.S. National Team led by Kevin Durant will take on France, and China is pitted against Puerto Rico in a day time double header. Check out the video below where Nike explains the forethought and all elements entailed within the city wide event.

Gray: It's All For The LOVE

Levi Maestro is best known for his online segment entitled “Maestro Knows.” Today Levi presents a special video one of the most elusive topics: Love. In this video entitled “It’s All For The LOVE,” Maestro interviews and films basketball players and enthusiasts throughout the New York boroughs of Harlem, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Gray: Kicks of the Week

This week I give you the Nike Toki "Perforated" Pack. When I was in LA in october with my mom, one of the stores I got to check out was Niketown. I found the Air Toki in black, but didn't have my size. In the past 14 months, they have put out 12 colorways of this awesome sneaker. This pack is unique because of the material: perforated leather. Usually the Toki ND sneaker has suede or canvas, but not these. This leather is somewhat shiny (as seen on the black pair) but not plasticy at all. If I end up coppin any of the Toki's, it will def be any of these sneakers below.

David: Nike x Futura Stickball Tournament

This past Easter, April 4th, Nike Sportswear and Futura had the first ever NSW stickball tournament and block party on Stickball Blvd in the Bronx. This was a celebration to the start off the baseball season and opening day for the New York Yankees. It also marked the global release of the Futura x Yankees product collaboration. In attendance were people like Va$tie, Jesse Boykins III, Q-Tip, Asher Roth, Dee and Ricky, and many more. Check the video below to see what happened on that day!
