David: Frendy Lemorin x The Yellow Brick Road: David B.S Bradshaw

Below is the first Episode of the Documentary Series " The Yellow Brick Road" produced and hosted by my good friend, Frendy Lemorin and shot & edited by Julien Jauniaux. I posted the teaser not too long ago and was very excited to see what was to come out of this project. And so far after watching this first interview I am impressed with what Frendy and Julien have done. The man they interview, David B.S Bradshaw, is a very smart and interesting emcee living in New York City. But before I give away anymore here's a personal message from Frendy Lemorin:

"It is my up-most pleasure to present to you all the first episode of my documentary! I’d like to give a big shout out to my Cameraman/Editor Julien Jauniaux for doing a great job on this piece. He’s a Genius!"

Here's episode one of "The Yellow Brick Road: David B.S Bradshaw"

David: Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop (Preview)

On Friday, April 16th, Bansky's "Exit Through The Gift Shop" is set to premier its US tour. Banksy is a UK graffiti icon and this is a trailer of the new documentary which Bansky himself gives us a little insight to the story line here:

"The film is the story of what happens when this guy tried to make a documentary about me but he was a lot more interesting than I am, so the film is now kinda about him."

David: Levi Maestro Speaks at Schools

Levi Maestro Speaks at Schools from Scott Regan on Vimeo.

The video above is of Maestro Knows, one of our biggest inspirations, and his recent trip to a Las Vegas high school to speak to a group of students. As I was watching this video I ended up noticing someone that gave us props on our TKFV vs. LA video at the 2:37 mark. It ended up being our homie Christian Astorga aka ChristianFGY (check out his website here). When I was talking to him last night he said all he did was show his broadcast journalism teacher his stuff and he emailed him to come to the school. Sure enough Maestro came and made another dope video. Check it out up top!

Gray: Kicks of the Week

Y-3 Honja Hi Black Patent

This weeks shoe is the Honja Hi Black Patent made by the most successful fashion designer headed sportswear collaboration Y-3 from Adidas. "The skate shoe grows up." This mid cut sneaker looks sleek because of its hidden lacing system, clean lines, and foxing tape finishing. And from David and my previous experiences with Y-3 sneakers these fit great with jeans.
So if you can't help dropping at least $200 on shoes definitely check these out and other Y-3 Honja Hi sneakers.

David: Johnny Cupcakes x Baker's Dozen

One of Johnny Cupcakes Baker's Dozen T-Shirts

So I had this shirt on today and I felt like I should do a post on it. Yes, it is a crazy design lol and yeah I have no clue what's going on in it either, but that's besides the point. The Johnny Cupcakes brand, founded by Johnny Earle (who we interviewed at the end of our TKFV vs. LA video), has an exclusive in-store "Baker's Dozen" t-shirt which they sell 130 of each month. Just something I thought made the company even doper than it already is. I mean who doesn't like exclusive limited edition stuff! So if you're living or ever in the area of Los Angeles or Boston be sure to stop by their stores and ask them about their exclusive "Baker's Dozen" t-shirts.

If you missed our TKFV vs. LA video and you want to check out the Johnny Cupcakes interview click here!
