The homie, Lovecraft (who's going to the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music program at NYU with me next year), shot over some of his favorite tracks of his to post up on TKFV. This guy has a very unique sound and is probably one of my favorite musicians/artists coming as a freshman to ReMu next year. All songs are produced by Lovecraft. Check everything out below:
Painted Mask - Lovecraft & Nicky C
Black Hole Arcade - Lovecraft
Unagi don - Lovecraft
Donner Party, For 83 - Lovecraft featuring DJ Rhymes
The homie, TheManWithThreeNames (PROduce, The Bully, Toony TuneS), released this song a little while ago titled, "RollerCoasterS." This song has a cool jazzy sound, something a little different than his last song, VegetableS. Take a listen and download the song below:
TheManWithThreeNameS is Three artists in one: Toony TuneS, PROduce and The Bully. Three varying styles of music from these three artists have made the sound of their music very different then what others have done (in an amazing way). Toony TuneS and myself met out in Los Angeles briefly and have been in contact ever since and anything he puts out seems to be amazing. On this song Toony TuneS lays down the vocals and The Bully raps while PROduce produced this track. Definitely a fan of these guys. Listen and download the song below:
In lieu of the homie, Gerald Walker's first performance at SXSW this week he released a promotional song titled, "Nothing Is Ever What It Seems." Be on the look out for Walker's Taylor Gang & Heavy Hustle presented EP with Cardo on The Beat and his full length project slated for this fall. In the meantime though check out his new song below:
Earlier today, Lazerdisk Party Sex, released their new song called, "Tigerblood." I remember when Pres was showing me this track a few weeks before they released it when him and I were working together in his studio. This song has a little bit of everything. iPhone ringtones, dancing, head nodding, swag, and a little sex party in between. Big ups to my older brothers in Lazerdisk. They officially played this song for the first time out at Snowball in Colorado, which they rocked. Right now their on root for Miami. Be on the look out for these guys in a city near you in the future! But for now check out the song below and download:
It's definitely been quite a year for Casey Veggies after releasing, Sleeping in Class, and joining Mac Miller on his Most Dope tour. Yesterday he released his song, "Make It Happen," featuring Juicy J and Billy Wes with production by Lex Luger. Listen and download the song below:
The homie John Lass just shot his new track, "Hotbox" featuring Wister Dice, over to us earlier today in celebration of his birthday. This is a nice mellow track to end the day with. Take a listen and download the track below! Happy Birthday John!
The homie Toony TuneS', who I actually met at the Odd Future studio out in Los Angeles last weekend (both of us didn't realize it till later, which was pretty funny), just released a new track called "Zodiation." The songs co-produced by PROduce and Michael Uzowuru. It will also be released on a double EP with Toony TuneS and The Bully with production by PROduce on, TheManWithThreeNameS EP, dropping in March! Listen and download the song below:
Dave Raps brings you his latest installment H.Y.P.E. which is a must download for all readers of TKFV. Take a listen to H.Y.P.E. and you'll be able to hear why Dave is slowly creating his own lane for himself. This mixtape is full of all original music from Dave himself and sheds light on the mindset of the 20-year old MC. Check out the tracklist, listen, and download the mixtape below!
I'm sure the cover speaks to everyone. Sloppy Seconds for sure! Myself and the newly named Alan South (previously DJ D-Cutz) will be releasing our first hour long mix for everyone to dance to this upcoming Monday, February 7th.
Get ready for some Ditto mashups! Sloppy Seconds coming to you soon! Shouts out to CJ Bowman for the great job on the artwork too! Check out his website here.

After releasing his EP, A Gerald Walker Christmas, and traveling the east coast shorty, Walker hit us with a new song called, "Here's Everything I've Always Meant to Say," produced by Taylor Gang producer, Cardo. Take a listen and download the track below:
As a special Gerald Walker is allowing listeners to remix this song! Producer's can download the acapella and aspiring artist can download the instrumental with his chorus for FREE. Get the full song, acapella, and instrumental below:
The homie, Vader The Villin, released his newest mixtape, Giant, today. This dude is our favorite rapper out of Vermont right now and also one of our great friends. I was just with him the other night listening to him freestyle and I swear this kid is going places if everything plays out the right way. Below are a few of my favorite songs from the 14 track mixtape. Oh and by the way safe travels to Vader. He'll be heading out to Hawaii for the next couple months this Thursday.
Take a listen below and download the mixtape at the bottom:
Last week Kanye tweeted saying his new single, H.A.M., with Jay-Z would be dropping January 11th. Today, January 11th, H.A.M. debuted on the Watch The Thrown Facebook Fan Page. Earlier in the week I'd just like to say I wasn't that crazy about the artwork, but after listening to this track produced by 19 year-old, Lex Luger, the song and artwork fit perfectly. Listen to the song and download it below:
This promo video below was taken at the Black Light White Out show at Higher Ground, which we (Ditto) opened up for. The dudes in Lazerdisk, ZJ and Pres, are really close homies of ours, so expect to see a lot of shows and collaborations from us in the future. In fact I'll be working with Pres in the studio this Thursday so be on the lookout for some music from Ditto very soon! Before I stray off too much though, the Black Light White Out show was also hosted by impartying.com and Triple Take Media, who shot the video below. Live crowd, live set, live everything. Check out the video below:
P.S. You can see D-Cutz and myself up on stage with Lazerdisk and the whole gang at 3:13. And yes, I know, my hat and jacket are swag. Thank you.
Bonus:
The song playing in the video is called "Lemonade is Still Popular." So popular that the SoundCloud version is up to 48,000+ listens. Swag! Take a listen and download it below:
In my opinion, all of this "Detox" and "Recovery" stuff needs to end. Rappers need to stay high, do drugs, talk about violence and talk about murdering their wives... or do they? Regardless, this track is rumored to be off Dre's new album, Detox, which is supposed to turn heads, and maybe one up Eminem's Recovery. Dre, Eminem, and Nas... common and I got you lazy fools a download link. Check out the fire!
The homie Doze One out of Providence, Rhode Island (my old hometown) just released this today. I respect this dudes grind and music a lot. Not many artists today have a combination of good singing and rapping like this guy and put it together like he does. There's definitely a different sound and genre Doze is bringing to the table on some of his songs on Dozin' Off. I guess it's safe to say this music is simply Doze One and nobody else is touching it.
Below are two of my favorite tracks from the mixtape, "Jump" and "Windows Down." Take a listen and download the full mixtape below. Don't miss out on this guy. He'll definitely be on TKFV a lot more.
Doze One - Jump
Doze One - Windows Down (feat. Rhapsody) (prod. Doze One)
Merry Christmas to everyone from TKFV! I hope Santa was good to everyone, but remember, it isn't about what you get, but rather the unification and spirit of people. This is the time of the year when happiness is an influence on everyone's lives. So however you spend it make sure to not only celebrate it for yourself, but celebrate for those that couldn't celebrate with you this time around. Have an amazing holiday!
Below is a little track from Vermont producer Principal Dean perfect for today! Check it out below:
Here's another track from Gerald Walker titled, "Keep Me Going," off of his forthcoming holiday-themed project, A Gerald Walker Christmas EP, dropping tomorrow (December 20th) for free! Take a listen and download it below:
